Contento is a content management framework which we have used to make lots and lots of great websites. Unlike typical CMS systems such as Joomla, Contento is not a pre-packaged install-and-go system, but rather a series of components tied together by a programming framework. The main benefits  of using Contento is that the administration interface is very easy to use and since Contento is a series of components, it's very flexible and expandable. Contento has been developed during 6 years by Copyleft Mexico and is in use in over 50 sites worldwide.

Contento is free software released under the AGPL license, there are two written codes, PHP and .NET and uses a MySQL database to store information.
